Blackout lifted for Chargers-Cowboys

Enough tickets have been sold to lift the local television blackout and allow Southern California to see the live telecast of the Chargers-Cowboys game on Saturday night, Aug. 21 at Qualcomm Stadium. Kickoff is 6 pm PT.

A limited number of Club Level tickets and tickets returned by the visiting team are still available at the Chargers’ ticket office at Gate C at Qualcomm Stadium, at www.Chargers.com and through TicketMaster at 800-745-3000. The ticket office is open Friday from 8-5 pm and Saturday beginning at 10 am.

The game will be televised live in the following markets:

Ron Pitts handles the play-by-play and Billy Ray Smith handles color commentary on Chargers’ preseason TV telecasts.

Fans also can listen to the game live on radio beginning on KIOZ Rock 105.3 FM and XTRA Sports 1360 AM in San Diego with Josh Lewin and Hank Bauer calling the action from the booth and Mike Costa reporting from the sideline. Fans are urged to use mass transit or carpool, and arrive EARLY. To avoid heavy traffic around the stadium on Interstates 8 and 15, fans can reach the stadium via the Friars Rd. East exit off of Highway 163.
