Floyd signs contract

Wide receiver Malcom Floyd signed a one-year contract Monday.
At 6-foot-5, 225 pounds, Floyd enjoyed the best season of his career last year, catching 45 passes for 776 yards and one touchdown. He started nine games. Floyd’s signing leaves the Chargers with three unsigned restricted free agents. They include WR Vincent Jackson, T Marcus McNeill, and LB Shawne Merriman. ###
