Jackson and Mathews named to Pro Bowl

San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson (first-alternate) and running back Ryan Mathews (second-alternate) have been added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster. Jackson replaces New England wide receiver Wes Welker, who will be playing in Super Bowl XLVI the following week in Indianapolis, and Mathews replaces Baltimore’s Ray Rice, who will also miss the game. This will be Jackson’s second-career Pro Bowl and Mathews’ first.
